NFL preseason training camps open for NFL teams in 2018 and 2019, and it will be interesting to see how the league decides which teams to open.
In this week’s article, I’ll take a look at which teams will open their 2018 preseason games, and then take a closer look at what to expect in 2019.
The first preseason game of the 2018 season is set for Thursday, Sept. 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The preseason schedule for 2019 has not yet been released, but I’ll update this article if/when it is.
The Jaguars have yet to announce their 2018 training camp roster, but they did open their preseason schedule in January 2018 with a two-day scrimmage against the Oakland Raiders.
The Jaguars then returned to Jacksonville for their third preseason game in 2018, a 29-0 loss to the Denver Broncos.
In 2019, the Jaguars are scheduled to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 26, 2019, in Jacksonville, Fla.
There are several reasons why the Jaguars might have a difficult preseason schedule.
For one, the Jacksonville Jaguars play in a new stadium.
The team will open its new facility in 2020, which will be home to the Jaguars’ new stadium and training facility.
The facility is designed to be as large as the stadium itself, and the Jaguars hope to open it up to the general public for the first time.
The stadium will also be larger than the current Jaguars’ stadium, which is currently the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Stadium.
In addition, the new Jaguars’ facility will also house a new practice facility.
Although the Jaguars have been training at the new Jacksonville Veterans Stadium since 2019, they will likely be limited to training there only for two weeks, with the first week being a scrimmage.
For the 2019 season, the team will likely use the facility in 2018 as the first training camp.
With the team’s new stadium now open and training facilities now available in 2019, Jacksonville is in a position to open its 2018 preseason schedule before most teams are even allowed to open their 2019 preseason schedule, according to a league source.
That means that most teams in the league will have their 2018 schedule open by the first day of the 2019 preseason, with teams like the New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars opening their 2019 schedules on the second day.
On top of that, teams that do open their 2017 preseason schedule may have a tough road to the 2019 slate, according an NFL source.
Teams like the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Philadelphia Eagles will open 2017 preseason games in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
In 2018, the Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Rams, and Minnesota Vikings will open preseason games at the University of Minnesota.
It’s not entirely clear why the Jacksonville team could be so close to opening their preseason schedules.
The Jags have been the league’s top preseason team in terms of wins and total points per game for two straight years, and while the Jaguars currently have the best overall record in the NFL, the Jags are not the first preseason team to finish the season with a bad record.
The 2017-18 Jaguars were also the first team to lose the first five games of the season in a row, so they likely have a long way to go before they can be considered the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl.
