Microsoft has confirmed that the upcoming multiplayer beta for Clash Royale will run on both Xbox One (Xbox One X) and Windows.
The beta is due out on March 9, and we’ll be getting a sneak peek of what it’s like when you can play.
Clash Royale for Xbox OneX runs on the latest version of Microsoft’s Xbox One X operating system, which includes a range of improvements to gameplay.
We’re expecting a number of the changes listed above to become available in March, including support for high-resolution monitors and the ability to view a map with a map editor.
Players who have already pre-ordered the game will get the beta launch pack, which contains a wide range of additional content.
For instance, a new character and a new mode will be added to the game on March 10.
Microsoft has confirmed the beta will run across both Xbox Ones and Windows PCs.
However, we’re still waiting on confirmation that this will be an Xbox One exclusive.
The Beta will also include additional content, including the ability for players to test out the new character art, multiplayer matches, and the option to join the server.
We’ve also got a few more details about the beta that are worth digging through.
Clashes Royale for Windows 10 on Windows 10 will feature the same suite of improvements as the Xbox One beta, including new features including offline play, the ability of the game’s online mode to be managed through a game menu, and an all-new map editor with support for both 32-bit and 64-bit maps.
Cliffs of Eidolon will be coming to Xbox One in March of next year, but we don’t have a date for when that’s coming to Windows.
Xbox One owners will also be able to access the game as a digital download, but the digital release will be limited to one-time-only content, and there will be no physical copies of the Xbox game available.
